This Week's Words
Carl White

These stories are written in Carl White’s voice as a producer and TV Host that travels and collects stories primarily in North and South Carolina. The stories are about the interesting people and places visited and often weaved together with some of life’s memories.

A Word From The Author

I believe it’s never a bad time for a good story because stories are abundant, and only limited by how many tomorrows we have for their telling.

Story telling at its best is a work of collaboration, and I have had the great fortune of working with people who enjoy being part of that amazing process. I am grateful for producers, editors, camera and sound operators, production assistants and distributions people I have had the opportunity to work with on the show. I am even more grateful that our print publishers are doing what they must to keep the presses turning.

Our stories take us on journeys, they inspire us to be better, they instill hope and sometimes they just make us smile and belly laugh every now and then.

Discover the beauty of the brackish Waccamaw river and learn about the massive live oaks that predate the founding of America. In Gold Hill, NC we make a connection with the past learning about the early days of gold mining in America. In days past, the mayor of Charlotte, NC once said that he hoped that Charlotte would someday be as prosperous as Gold Hill.
